About
Jax Harms is a trans vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist working across folk, roots, and blues traditions. His work draws on the storytelling lineage of those genres, exploring voice as a space where identity, memory, and inheritance meet.

As a session and live vocalist they have collaborated with artists including Hot Chip, Kesha, Olly Alexander, Imogen Heap, Sam Lee, Jim Moray, Holly Herndon & Mat Dryhurst, and BISHI, with performances at venues including OVO Arena Wembley and festivals such as Mighty Hoopla, including the Transmission benefit concert supporting trans communities and Together for Palestine, curated by Brian Eno.
Alongside his work as a vocalist, Jax is a songwriter whose work is rooted in folk and blues traditions, with a focus on lyrical storytelling and voice-led composition. They have taken part in songwriting camps with Electric Marmalade and 2% Rising, developing a collaborative and cross-genre writing practice.
